15 Steps to a Clutter Free Home

It’s time to get into the habit of letting go of excess stuff, rather than finding a place to stuff it. Having to walk around stuff or over stuff does not make for a peaceful living environment. Let’s go room by room and take care of some of the most common clutter problems.
1.) Kitchen: ask yourself what items do I use daily?
These items really deserve the primetime space in your kitchen. They should be within arms reach in the best location available. Watch out for space hogs in the kitchen such as multiple coffee mugs, plastic bags and cleaning products.
2.) Next ask yourself how many of each of these items you need to have a reasonable amount on hand.
Do you have 6 of something but only use one. This is a common problem. Setting limits will help you maintain an organized kitchen easily. Any broken, stained or chipped items need to go.
3.) Donate or discard your extra items, or in the case of glasses or dishes store them in long term storage until needed.
That is only if you have room in or for long-term storage. If you already have a long term storage problem go ahead and get rid of your excess, unless its an item that you can not replace like grandma’s good china, in that case get rid of something else and store grandma’s china. Remember to periodically go through cabinets and drawers to purge extras and replace worn out or damaged pieces.
4.) Clear your counters: the most visible part of your kitchen.
Start by clearing all items into boxes or onto trays. Take this opportunity to clean your counters thoroughly. Now put back only the items that you use daily. Ex. Toaster, coffeemaker, crocks of utensils. Only display decorative items on you countertop if you have plenty of space to do so. Otherwise decorations in moderation should be on the walls to save valuable real estate in the kitchen.
5.) Discourage paper piles from forming by creating a RAF file or as some people call it an action file.
A RAF file can be anything that can hold 3 files or folders. RAF stands for read, act, and file. As paper comes into your house you need to use your RAF file to place each piece either in to read, to act (meaning you need to do an action) or to file. Each piece of paper you save is important for one reason or another so you need to be able to find it quickly. Then of coarse there is the trashcan, use it regularly. You can also set up binders with clear plastic pages for things like receipts, recipes, take out menus, school information and frequently called numbers.
6.) Clean off your fridge!
Scale down or eliminate old refrigerator magnets or at least move them to one side. Clear everything off the front, put important items such as take out menus in a binder or in your RAF file. Save your kids best artwork in a plastic bin with their name on it, be sure to write their age on the back with an acid free pencil or acid free pen that you can find in the scrap booking section of any store. Once the fridge is clear, only put back current items.
TIP: Keep a wipe off calendar on the front of you fridge, update it the 1st of every month from you pocket calendar that you keep in your pocketbook or briefcase. That way you won’t miss any appointments or meeting or double schedule yourself.
7.) Bathroom: Clean out your medicine cabinets.
Dispose of expired medicines and toss bottles of perfume, lotion and nail polish that are almost empty. Keep on the products that you like and use. Don’t keep products that you either didn’t like or were not effective just because of what it cost you. In the long run they cost you more in space wasted.
8.) Clean out stuffed drawers.
Ok we have all done it at one time or another shoved one more item into an already full drawer. Now it’s time to change all that. Go drawer by drawer take everything out and ask yourself “Do I love this?” Do I need this?” Why am I keeping this?” The answers to these questions will tell you what you need to do. Then you keep it, donate it or toss it. By lightening up your drawers you will reduce stress and be able to find the things you need faster and easier.
9.) Clear bathroom counter.
It makes it so much easier to get ready in the morning and reduces stress when your bathroom counters are clear. This is also a time save because cleaning is a breeze. See tip #12 for the solution to where to put all the stuff you cleared off the counter.
10.) Use your wall space.
If you’re hard pressed for storage solutions look to your walls. There are many options to create storage and reduce clutter on countertops. Ask yourself is there anywhere that I can add a shelf or shelves? Maybe a wall soap dish or toothbrush holder. Look on EBAY for hotel towel holders they hold 2 bath towels, 2 hand towels and 2 washcloths each.
11.) Create a peaceful retreat.
Most bathroom tubs and showers seem to be over flowing with bottles of shampoo, conditioner, bath toys and body washes. Again start by removing all items; clean the surfaces well with a soap scum-removing product. Then only put back the products that you use on a daily basis. Consider getting a shower caddy if you don’t already have one and a stick on basket or bag for the kid’s toys.
12.) Make personal bath totes.
Each member of your family should have their own container to store and transport their own personal bath items. This container can be a small plastic crate, a wicker basket or any other small container that can hold your items neatly. Placing each family members items in their own container makes it easy to store these things under the bathroom sink or in the bathroom or in the linen closet until they are needed. This also keeps their personal hygiene items together making it easy to find their comb or hair detangler and its no problem to move to another bathroom when company comes.
13.) Create a peaceful haven.
Your bedroom should be a place where you can rest. It is not the place to do work or other stressful activities. Do not allow things not related to sleep to accumulate there. This room should contain a bed, dresser, nightstands, lamp and maybe a chair or bench. Do not over crowd your bedroom with furniture it will make it feel small and will not promote peace. Your nightstand should be clear except for reading glasses (if you need them), a book or magazine (just one, not a pile), alarm clock and maybe some tissues. Start by clearing the room of all excess stuff, only put back those items that promote peace and rest. Donate or store extra items elsewhere.
14.) Remember the one in one out rule.
Once you have your house down to where it looks and feels good for every new item that you acquire you will need to donate, sell or give away one item. One for one, it’s the only way to maintain the balance that you have achieved.
15.) Place 4 containers in your laundry room.
There are 4 containers every laundry room should have. Three of them can be boxes, bags, laundry baskets or whatever you have on hand. The last one is a trashcan. Label your containers, donate, mending, rags and trash. The donate box means that you continually separate out items that are past their prime but still have some wear or are too small. The mending means that you need to do a small repair. Rags means they have holes or bad stains so you can use them to clean or stain furniture, cotton or wool clothing make the best rags. The trashcan is for items found in pockets, dryer lint and other trash. This way it doesn’t pile up on your dryer eventually making its way to the floor.
There you have it 15 steps to a clutter free home.

A Child and a Wooden Toy Barn

What parent and grandparent does not want to give their child a unique toy that can be uplifting? A wooden toy barn would be a toy that would be high on the list. Children love to be in their own pretend world and what better world to be in than a play farmer?
Raising my children on a dairy farm, their dad built a barn for his children before they were born. This barn was not only a barn but represented a lifestyle. Children can play out their own world of parents and grandparents with a wooden toy barn.
I place a lot of emphasis on wooden toy barns because I believe that they are so much better in construction than the many plastic toy barns that are made and found in many stores today. Wooden toy barns are greatly detailed and become a unique, wooden toy that is manufactured here in the USA.
Some wooden toy barns have 4 sides and other wooden toy barns are open in the back so that a child has easy access to the inside with a loft and stall inside to play with all the animals that they “own.”
Other wooden toy barns are large enough to be used as a toy box and even climb inside them and hide! No matter the size of wooden toy barns, they can all be used as toy boxes to keep their farm implements and animals inside. This also helps to keep things organized and helps a child to learn the skills of organization as well.
When playing with a wooden toy barn another toy that is almost essential is a wooden toy fence. All livestock farmers need to keep their animals corralled somehow and so does the little farmer. The best fences I have seen are the wooden toy fences that are expandable. These fences are nice as they can be in square or circle and fold up and can be stored inside the barn once the educational playtime is over.
Wooden toy barns made in the USA can be an excellent choice for a parent to give a child if they want to give a unique, quality built toy. A wooden toy barn can be purchase but there is another gift that comes with a different price tag. This gift can not be bought but it is spelled T-I-M-E. There is something special about that word when you see a child playing with a barn, fence and animals. When seeing a child so involved with their “real world”, I would recommend that you put the remote down and join the little one and spend that last hour before bedtime feeding and caring for the livestock and encouraging the little farmer.
A wooden toy barn can be passed from generation to generation if given tender, loving care, and just as it seems like you blink your eyes and your child is grown and gone, there may come a day when the wooden toy barn that you gave your child, can now be given a new life playing once again….. this time with a wonderful grandchild! Yes, a wooden toy barn is a toy of yesterday, today and tomorrow.

It might seem silly to discuss the top Christmas gifts for girls in 2011 when the holiday season is still far away, but many people are getting ready to begin their holiday shopping. Even though the estimated figure is slightly less than last year’s Christmas shopping season it is still a great number for retailers.
So why do retailers rush to prepare for the holiday shopping season? Store managers have revealed that the trend started during the economic recession. People did not have a lot of money to spend during the Christmas season so they spread out their holiday shopping, buying sale items rather than waiting until the last minute. Right now, it is better for shoppers to wait until they can get special discounts on items that begin on Black Friday. Christmas Gifts For 8 Year Old Girls

Are you on the look out for that perfect Christmas gift for your Daughter? No doubt she will drop some subtle hints if you broach the subject but if you want to keep her Christmas present a complete surprise then here are a few ideas. The article will focus on Christmas gifts for 8 year old girls or girls around about that age. Hopefully it will help you get informed on the type of toys that are available for girls around this age.
If your girls are into dolls then a recent new released series is the Monster High dolls. These dolls are way cooler than Barbie and much more interesting. They are of teenage kids that go to the school called Monster High. All the dolls are different characters and they are based on famous monsters from myths, history or horror movies.
In fact they are the children of these famous monsters. Presumably all the monsters came to Hollywood to play roles in movies as themselves and kind of settled down and had kids. The kids had to go to school and thus we find them at Monster High.
The two most popular dolls are Cleo DeNile and Deuce Gorgon. Cleo is the offspring from the Mummy and has all sorts of Ancient Egyptian accessories. Deuce is the doting son of Medusa from Greek mythology. She was recently spotted in the action adventure blockbuster Clash of the Titans.
Another toy that is fun to play but also very clever is the Hogwarts Lego board game. Eight year old girls are no doubt fans of the Harry Potter series of movies or maybe have even read the books. Well, the Lego board game is a fun way to get even more out of the Harry Potter story.
Up to 4 people can play and they have to get various pieces of homework to the common room (or center of the board). Players can block other players off by casting spells that seal walls to halt and opponents progress. It’s good fun for girls devoted to the Harry Potter story and keen to be a part of the venerable old Hogwarts school.
Another toy that is fun for the whole family but certainly some that young girls would like to play with is the Kinect sensor for Xbox 360. Of course you need an Xbox 360 for the Kinect sensor to work but after that you are good to go.
You can get games, like Kinectimals which allows you to have a virtual pet. A gorgeous tiger cub is demonstrated. As the sensor responds to all your movements you can play with your pet animals – tickle his chin or stroke his head. He will purr or jump up and try to lick you.
It looks like great fun and sure to be a popular game with girls around 8 years of age and even older or younger.
The Elf on a Shelf – 10 Sets of Mischievous Ideas For Adding Magic to Your Holiday Season

The Elf on the Shelf Christmas and Elf Magic traditions are sweeping the nation — for good reason. They offer a delightful way to build excitement for the holidays, and keep children on their best behavior. Here is how they work.
The “official” Elf on the Shelf, Elf Magic Elf or a another elf, arrives at your home early in the Christmas season to spend the holidays with your family.
Each night the Elf on a Shelf returns to the North Pole, while your children are sleeping, to report to Santa regarding their behavior.
While the Elf on the Shelf Elves have a more staid reputation, the Elf Magic Elves are a mischievous bunch, and have a tendency to make a mess or pull a crazy stunt while everyone is asleep. Your kids will love to wake up each morning and see what trouble the Elf got into the night before.
Here are ten ideas found around the internet and from local families to inspire your elf:
Elves Love to Do What Your Kids Love To Do
Elves adapt quickly to a household, and many mornings are found busy with the favorite activities of the kids who live there. Reading favorite books, playing games (including the Wii or Nintendo DS), having a tea party with best-loved dolls, and riding skateboards are all favorite Elf past times.
Elves Are Into Computers and Social Media
Elves in homes with teens have been known to have email, Facebook and Twitter accounts to keep an online eye on the kids and send funny emails, status updates and tweets. Many elves also seem to surf the internet late at night, finding fun new sites for the kids to enjoy.
Elves Love to be in Pictures
Apparently, Elves are very good at self portraits. Many families have found their digital cameras full of pictures of their Elves in all kinds of crazy poses.
Elves Often Have A Driver’s License
If an Elf cannot be found in the morning, the car is the first place to look. Elves are often found in the driver’s seat, sitting on a stack of pillows or books. The car may be parked backwards or in a crazy position, and in some cases even down the street or in a neighbor’s driveway. Typically, Christmas music is blaring through the speakers and the gas tank is mysteriously closer to empty than before.
Elves Write in Journals
Elves and children often learn more about each other and build bonds by writing letters back and forth. Some Elves arrive with a festively decorated journal to keep all the correspondence in one place. It has been rumored that some Elves only write backwards, so children must hold the note up to the mirror to read it. A few are conversant in Pig Latin or other codes that older kids must decipher.
Elves Tell Potty Jokes, Too
Bathroom humor spans all languages and species. Elves love to turn the toilet water green (with food coloring), decorate Christmas trees in underwear, toilet paper kids rooms or whole houses, and write on bathroom mirrors with mom’s lipstick.
Elves Spell Their Names – Everywhere!
Each Elf has a name. Some are named by the children they watch. Others arrive with a note introducing the Elf. Either way, all Elves seem to love to leave their signature as often as possible. Maybe the Elf’s name is written in Cheerios, flour, or chocolate syrup on the counter. Other times in toothpaste on the bathroom mirror. Best of all, in food coloring on freshly fallen snow.
Elves Love Things That Remind Them of Home
Cotton ball snowball fights are a favorite past time of elves. Also, Elves often make elf sized snow angels. If real snow is not available, then Insta-Snow or flour make good substitutes. A favorite game for Elves is Candy Lane. If the house does not already have a copy, Elves have been known to bring one from the North Pole as an early Christmas gift.
Elves Do Not Always Come Alone
What could be better than an Elf on the Shelf? Several Elves, of course. That means the mischief can multiply and children awake to elaborate scenes of Elf mayhem. Maybe a poker game or baseball or football match or a play with Elves in costume (borrowed from other dolls).
Elves Play With Their Neighbor Elves
So many families have their own Elf on a Shelf during the holidays that Elves join with neighbor Elves to increase the fun. Many neighbor elves have been waiting together at the bus stop for their children to arrive. Other Elves host a Christmas party for neighborhood kids.
As you can see, the possibilities are endless for your elf tradition. Happy Holidays!
5th Wheel Toy Hauler – A Recreational Vehicle Review

While visiting RV show, I poked around in a 5th Wheel Toy Hauler or two. WOW! If your idea of camping is staying at the Ritz, this is the Toy Hauler for you. These bad boys use the 18-wheeler hitch known as a 5th wheel, which mounts in the center of a pick up bed. Up to three axles are needed to support weights up to, and exceeding, 17,000 pounds.
While smaller 5th Wheel Toy Haulers are available, most people own them for their massive roominess and unrivaled luxury. They are the most expensive of the conventional Toy Haulers.
First the good news: The 5th Wheel Toy Haulers I saw had fabulous kitchens, snack bars, full size pantries, and impressive woodwork and flooring. The kitchens were well lit and housed a full-sized microwave, refrigerator, range and oven. I was very much taken back by all of the counter space and ample cabinets. These certainly do provide a dream kitchen for the open road. A 5th wheel can come equipped with up to three slide-outs and a raised forward master bedroom making this the undisputed king of spaciousness. The overstuffed king-size bed and plush sofa quickly invite you to sit back and fire up the home entertainment center. Now someone, please make another Margarita.
What really sets the 5th Wheel apart in the Toy Hauler world is the availability of a totally enclosed cargo area, or as they are often referred to, the garage. Larger units have a solid wall and sealed door separating the toys from the living space. I even found some with a separate outside door to the garage. This feature is two-fold. One is for keeping the mud out of the living room, and the other for keeping the wife happy. If you are like me, and carry way-to-many tools, you’ll appreciate having all of those garage cabinets.
Now the other news: A 5th Wheel Toy Hauler can be really heavy; up to and exceeding, 17,000 pounds. You guessed it, that means a g big powerful tow rig. I’m not a huge fan of diesel pickups. However, I’ve found that if you want pulling power and something vaguely resembling decent mileage, then a diesel is definitely the way to go. Fortunately diesels have long lives, and there are plenty to be found in the used market.
Towing these very large barn doors can be challenging in high winds or when an 18-wheeler passes by. The 5th wheel hitch will help to maintain control and minimize white knuckles in what might be a hairy situation with a travel trailer. It also can be helpful when maneuvering these monsters into tight RV spaces and through downtown traffic.
Unless you have big rig experience, you will no doubt find towing one of these a little different from your basic rear hitch type of trailer. Because they are so large and tall, and so close behind the driver, they will keep you on your toes, especially driving though town. If you are not careful, to your dismay, you could look in your rear-view mirror just in time to witness the trailer laying a stop sign flat! I’ve been there, and done that.
Finding the right Toy Hauler for you is ultimately a personal decision. But if you require lavish accommodations with a separate toy garage, the 5th Wheel Toy Hauler may be exactly what you are looking for.
5th Grade Science Fair Project Idea

It’s that time of the year again! Time to create, design and carry out a science project for the school science fair. Stumped? Don’t worry this article will help you plan a 5th grade project in science.
Here is a great 5th grade science fair project idea:
Every 5th grade project in science needs these important sections: title, materials, purpose (of the experiment), hypothesis (what you think is going to happen), procedure, results and conclusion. For this 5th grade science fair project idea:
Title: Come up with your own title!
Purpose: We all heard the saying water and oil do not mix. Why? Water and oil are both liquids and should mix like liquids. What will happen when we actually test this saying and mix oil and water? What will happen when we mix honey in? What will happen when when place objects in this mixture?
Hypothesis: This section is for your predictions. What do you think will happen when you pour the liquids in the jars? What do you think would happen to the objects? When you place objects into water, they usually sink. Do you think this will happen when you place objects in liquids that are not water? Don’t worry about being right! Hypothesis can be wrong, after all you need to do the experiment to find out.
Materials: For this science fair project idea, you will need
honey
small objects of different weights such as paper clips, coins, toys, marbles, etc.
two different jars that are at least 8 inches tall
water
vegetable oil
food coloring
Procedure:
Pour honey into one jar so it is 2 inches high.
Food color the water (pick whatever color you like best!) and then pour 2 inches of water into the same jar with the honey.
Then add oil to the same jar, 2 inches high again.
Pour the liquids in reverse order in the second jar. (oil, water, honey)
Put the objects in one jar. See what happens to the objects after 10 minutes, one hour, two hours.
Repeat step five for objects in the second jar.
Results: What happened? Describe everything. You don’t need to include explanations of why something occurred. Make sure to bring to jars to the science fair!
What Are The Hot Christmas Gifts This Year? 2011, 2012

While trying to figure out what are the hot Christmas gifts for this year in 2011, consider giving a gift that can last your giftee a lifetime. Rather than opting for the typical presents, you could try to choose a little something unique as well as beautiful. Unlike several guides you may see this Holiday season about gift buying, you actually must take a look at energy pendants for a gift of health and a great gift of beautiful jewelry which won’t break your finances while actually providing some real world benefits!
What exactly are energy pendants?
Energy pendants really are a cool piece of jewelry that you can find almost anyplace lately. Most claim to promote health and fitness, quite a few these businesses and sites won’t actually reveal how they perform and what they do. Energy pendants are basically made from elements that come out of the earth, usually made with metal and also volcanic (aka igneous) rock.
The power caught inside the elements is the essential thing, there is lots of medical studies that are finished and many presently ongoing, considering the potency of this power to help people. It’s proven to increase mobility, endurance, intellectual awareness; this should be on the list of what are the hot Christmas gifts this year.
How can they work?
The power itself is positively charged, to help you benefit from it regardless of how you wear it. Scalar energy is really a kind of energy that appears naturally, with lots of various other types you’re likely aware of, such as nuclear, solar, wind, as well as electromagnetic radiation and fields. What’s excellent about this sort of energy is it’s positively charged, present devoid of damaging ions. Additionally, it doesn’t alter form or reduce its strength whenever it goes through solid things or other forms of matter, you can use it inside your clothing, or over some heavy clothes and it’ll be effective.
So what can it do for me?
Good energy is shown to have excellent benefits for our wellness. Many use these to defend themselves against EMF radiation and many of the illnesses and health problems a destroyed immune system brings. Advantages range from:
Protection against electro-magnetic frequencies which could trouble the body’s natural equilibrium;
Restore and renew healthy cell growth;
Much better sleep;
Therefore if you’re searching for a new special idea that effortlessly fits in with what are the hot Christmas gifts this year. Check it out for yourself!
7 Hot Christmas Gifts For A Man Who Has Everything

I write all about mens gifts, and one of the most common questions I get asked through my website is “what gift do I buy for my man. He has plenty of money and buys what he wants, so he already has everything he wants”.
This is of course pretty common. Lots of men just get out there and buy something if they want it, they don’t drop hints near birthday time hoping that the hint will be picked up and acted on. Almost by definition, if he wants it he’s already got it.
Not always of course, often it’s a question of cost. There are men with a list of wants that they would like to fill, but just can’t afford them. If your man is like that, and you can afford those gifts, then ask him and see what he’ll say, he’ll probably jump at the chance to tell you about those things he’d love the most but can’t buy for himself.
But lets assume for a moment that your man can afford what he wants, and so you’re a little stuck for ideas for unique and unusual birthday gifts or Christmas gifts that are going to get his juices going.
Here’s 7 ideas for gifts for him. He may love all of them, he may love none of them, but I doubt it.
There’ll be at least one gift for him there that he’ll love. Some are extremely expensive and some aren’t.
1. Lingerie. Now it isn’t entirely a unique gift idea but it’s one that is almost guaranteed to work. Men love lingerie. Worn by their women of course. I have seen lots of lists of favorite gifts for men and there is one common gift theme. Lingerie is always up there.
No matter how many pieces of beautiful lingerie a woman has, if she selects well and chooses the right piece I can just about guarantee her man will love it, provided of course she wears it for him.
It’s almost a can’t fail gift.
And there is wonderful lingerie available for women of any size, so girls it’s no excuse to say that you’re a little large. If your man loves you large he’ll love you large and looking great in some sexy lingerie.
2. Adventure gifts. Most men love adventure and adrenalin. Not all, but most. And many women aren’t
aware that there are some excellent companies around that cater to this extremely well. It’s possible to find all sorts of adventure gifts for men and women that you would never have thought existed.
And for all sorts of tastes. Would he love to do his first parachute jump? Try white water rafting?
Drive a tank or a supercar? Go zero-g just like the astranauts do in training? You can give him a gift of any of these things and thousands more, from the extreme adrenalin gift to the gentle and invigorating and pampering gift. The adventure gift companies cater for all tastes in outdoors and adventure and adrenalin, even to beautiful and luxurious days like wine tastings and spa days. There’s something for everyone.
3. An eco holiday. There is a growing worldwide movement to charity and volunteer and ecological work and travel. Rather than just buy him a holiday in Europe, which is a little ho hum, why not buy him some volunteer travel with a difference. There are lots of companies which offer adventure travel with a twist, volunteer work that helps out those less fortunate than ourselves, both people and animals and the environment.
He may end up on a research vessel in the waters off Mexico counting turtles or in the wilds of Africa measuring the distribution of African animals. The destinations are almost always exotic. There is work to be done but it is so interesting and adventuruous and invigorating that he probably won’t even see it as work. It’s fun, it’s exciting, it’s adventurous and it gives back to the environment and to many less fortunate than ourselves helping committed scientists with their research.
It costs, it’s not free, but it’s an extremely unique and fabulous holiday that he’s unlikely to better.
4 Chinese art. This is a favorite of mine because I lived in China for a while and just love Chinese art. We have so many pieces that we don’t have enough space to hang them all. From beatiful Chinese wall hangings to the absolutely fabuluous and quite unique teapots of Yixing, there are so many Chinese artworks that would go so well in so many of our Western homes.
And it’s so cheap. For the man who loves his art, Chinese art is a gift of art with a difference.
5. Mens jewelry. Now this is a gift for a man who likes to wear jewelry obviously, and you need to establish this first. However for a man who does like his jewelry there are some extremely modern and stunning jewelry pieces available on the net now at very competitive prices. And they are made exclusively for men using some of the finest and most masculine of jewelry metals. Like Titanium. If you haven’t checked out Titanium jewelry for men on the net lately and your man likes jewelry you should do so. It makes for a wonderful and sometimes extremely romantic gift for the right man.
6. An elephant painting. Another one for the man who likes his art. Painted by a real Asian elephant on paper which is made from elephant dung. Now before you wonder if I’ve gone mad check it out. The elephants really do the painting, I have a video of it on my website. And believe it or not they paint recognisable objects. The paintings look great, are extremely inexpensive, and would make a great artwork to hang near the table to stimulate some evening conversation with his friends.
And in Thailand, where a lot of the elephant paintings are done, they also make the most stunning paper from elephant dung. And yes, again I’ve got links on my website to sites where you can actually see how it’s done, it’s not a fraud. It’s beautiful paper, and you can get his elephant painting done on elephant dung paper.
7. And for the man who has absolutely everything and who won’t like anything at all from number 1 to 6, then buy him a whale. It is perfectly possible to do. He doesn’t actually get a whale wrapped in paper to unwrap on his birthday. However there are organisations like the Hebridean Whale and Dolphin trust that track and identify individual whales and dolphins, and allow you to name his own whale or dolphin. There is a real whale or dolphin out there that is named for him.
The money helps in the protection of our whales and gives him a unique and memorable gift.
So there you have it, 7 suggestions for great gifts for the man who has everything. Ranging in price from $50 or so, to seriously expensive.
Now you don’t have any excuses to say “I have no idea what to buy him for his birthday” any more.
